Just 10 minutes from downtown, the best activities in Kona, and the international airport, the Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast is the best place to stay in Kona and is an ideal base for exploring the Big Island’s endless adventures—from snorkeling and volcano hikes to historical sites and scenic drives.

Our Hawaii Bed and Breakfast features well appointed accommodations, including 5 comfortable guest rooms and one apartment suite. Each room has its own distinct personality with a private bathroom, original artwork and an exterior lanai for seating.
In addition to our charming amenities, each room includes an overhead fan, as no air-conditioning is needed at our altitude. Take a moment to enjoy the mango colored sunsets, the deep blue ocean views, and stunning stargazing under the moonlit night sky.

Fresh Breakfast

Mornings at the Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast are a delightful way to start your day. Enjoy the Aloha of the Big Island mornings as the sun rises to the East, the farm and animals awaken and breakfast is being prepared. We serve locally sourced and farm grown ingredients, including fresh tropical fruit and juice, served with our own Hawaiian Kona coffee each morning.
Please note the menu changes daily. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know well in advance of your arrival.

Given our proximity to Kona, take time to stroll downtown with all of the shops, galleries, farmer’s markets and restaurants. Once you have reserved your stay with us, we will be happy to share with you some of our favourite local finds to plan your Hawaii Big Island adventure.
In addition to our prime location just minutes to restaurants and shopping downtown, we are also close to many of the Big Island of Hawaii outdoor exploration opportunities. Boasting 11 different climate zones, the Big Island offers exceptional diversity from one side of the Island to the other.
Whether hiking in the cloud forest, going to one of the many different coloured sand beaches, enjoying the lush fauna of the rain forest or the stark lava flows of the volcano, the Big Island of Hawaii has it all and is easily accessible from our location.
